What To Do if you Wish to Bond a Person from the Cherokee County Jail

Inquire the suspect’s charges and bond amount form the Cherokee County Correctional Staff. 

Determine if you wish to pay a cash bond or utilize the services of an authorized bonding agent.

Notify the correctional staff at 620-429-3897 of your decision.

If you choose to utilize a bonding agent, the 11th Judicial District must approve him or her.

All you need:

1. Your Credit or Debit Card

2. Inmate's Name, Number and facility code.

3. Pay Location Code: 5500


Minimum Deposit = $25.00, Maximum Deposit = $100.00.

Phone Service Fee = 6% of total (minimum of $6.00)

Internet Service Fee = 4.5% of total (minimum of $4.50)

Maximum transaction amount per week = $200.00

Maximum number of transactions per week = 5

 

New Web Based Inmate Video Visitation

This system is a product of Home WAV and allows prisoners more visits and less restrictive visitation hours. It requires less staff and less travel by visitors resulting in savings to both the visitor and general public.

Visitation

 Prisoners are allowed up to 30 minutes per visit. These visits are conducted via the Internet from video stations located in prisoner housing units, and from PCs at home.
