The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office will be collecting new and gently used coats on Saturday, October 26^th, 2013 from 9:00 AM to Noon at five area locations.

Law Enforcement Officers will be set up in the parking lots at:

Columbus Apple Market

Baxter Springs – Marvin’s IGA

Riverton Community Building

Galena Community Center

CBW- Bank

Residents and businesses are encouraged to donate the coats, which will then be distributed through area schools to kids who may be in need.

• Note: This event is being held at the same time / locations as our fall National Drug Take Back Event.
