5 Arrested In Friday Morning Raid

After a nearly four month investigation, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Southeast Kansas Drug Enforcement Task Force raided a home located at 8518 Southeast 90th Street outside of Galena on Friday morning.

 

While executing the search warrant, officers discovered chemicals in various stages of the methamphetamine manufacturing process along with suspected methamphetamine and other evidence which suggests that meth manufacturing had occurred at that location numerous times.

 

Arrested at the scene were:

 

  • Danny OBanion Jr., of the home, on allegations of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He is being held without bond.
  • John Harbaugh, 31, of Joplin, on allegations of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine.  His is also being held without bond.
  • Rachel Arehart, 34, Joplin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (prescription pills) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her bond is set at $12,000.00.
  • Warren White, 43, Joplin, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is set at $7,000.00.
  • Terri McCool, 56, Galena, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Transporting and Open Container. Bond is set at $4,500.00.

 

All suspects remain in the Cherokee County Jail and are considered innocent until proven guilty.
