Monday Morning Search Warrant Lands Scammon Man in Jail

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics related search warrant at 102 East Naught Street in Scammon, just after 9:30 Monday morning.

Investigators discovered suspected drugs and paraphernalia during the course of searching the home.

Kevin Scott Kinyon, 36, was arrested and transported to the Cherokee County Jail where he remains in custody on $7,000.00 bond for allegations of Possessing Methamphetamine, Possessing Marijuana and Possessing Drug Paraphernalia.

Formal charges are expected to be filed on Kinyon later this week, and as this is an ongoing investigation, additional suspects may be arrested.
