The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has recently added a new feature on their agency website, www.cherokeecountykssheriff.com.

"With many families taking summer vacations, we want to help keep an eye on their homes while away," according to Chief Deputy Nate Jones.

"To enhance ease and efficiency for the community, now you can go to our website and under the "Forms" section, click on "Vacation / Away From Home Extra Patrol Request."  Once submitted, our patrol division will add the home to our extra patrols while you're gone for an extended period of time," continued Chief Deputy Jones.

Vacation patrol requests for residents living within a city will be distributed to the Sheriff's Office Patrol Division and the respective city police department.
