Search Warrant Leads to 5 Arrests

On Friday, August 10th, 2012, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Galena Police Department and the Joplin, Missouri Police Department executed a search warrant at 719 Euclid in Galena.
The search warrant stemmed from an investigation into stolen property from Joplin, Missouri.
While the property being sought was not located, investigators did locate a suspected meth lab, including chemicals in various stages of the manufacturing process and finished methamphetamine product.
Arrested at the scene were:
- Elizabeth Pence, 55, of the home has been charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Ephedrine with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $100,000.00.
- Sarah Fontana, 34, of the home, has been charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Ephedrine with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $100,000.00.
- Jonathan Bruenn, a.k.a. Christopher Farris, 21, of Galena has been charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Bond has been set at $75,000.00.
- Angela Harvey, 38, of Galena is charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Bond has been set at $50,000.00.
- Caleb Helton, 33, of rural Galena has been charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $100,000.00.
All five suspects remain in the Cherokee County Jail after being formally charged in Cherokee County District Court on Monday.
